House Tour – Basement
My husband and I have almost been in our house for a year now, so I thought I would take this week to give a little tour. One of my favorite parts of running My Midwest Is Showing is going to meet the people I interview and seeing their spaces – I'm pretty nosy. I thought it was only fair that I let all of you look around my space too.
The last stop on the house tour is my basement! It's not fully finished, but when you walk in the back door and head down the stairs, you enter a room we've managed to make pretty cozy. It has an impressive stone wall and fireplace that is easily the focal point. Steve works from home and has set up shop in the basement, and he loves to have friends over and hang out down there.
Come on in, and take a look around:
We made this coat rack with some hooks we found at an antique store.
I found this canvas of giant orange flowers at Goodwill when I was in 7th grade – I'm pretty sure it was $5.
Let me know if you have any questions about my basement or any of the pieces in it! I'd love to answer in the comments below.
Don't forget to check out my living room, bedrooms, and kitchen & bathroom too! And get my household must-haves.
